SharePoint Workflows: Simple to Complex
 Ted Perrotte
National Practice Manager
Quilogy, Inc.
SharePoint offers the ability to incorporate workflows into business processes. But what does that really mean?
Ted will demonstrate “out of the box” SharePoint workflow for the simplest of solutions. He will demonstrate how SharePoint Designer can be used to quickly develop workflows while pointing out it’s limitations. Finally, Ted will discuss how Visual Studio can be used for more complex workflow processes.
Ted Perrotte is a National Practice Manager for Quilogy, Inc. He is responsible for developing market strategy for SharePoint offerings and defining the business value of MOSS based solutions. Ted speaks nationally on industry technology trends and at many vertical market events.

SharePoint as a Platform for Advanced Workflow
 Chris Geier
Program Manager
K2
SharePoint does a nice job with workflow processes that are pretty basic. Even sophisticated workflow issues can be addressed with SharePoint provided you get developers involved. But if developers aren’t at the ready or if users really want to be able to design their own process, SharePoint alone may not address your need.
Chris will discuss how advanced workflow can be integrated into SharePoint while increasing the ability to collaborate. He will demonstrate advanced workflow solutions as well as user designed workflow. And if you’ll stick around, he’ll show how workflow can be used to provision SharePoint sites.
Chris Geier is a program manager with K2. He is responsible for evangelism efforts both in the US and internationally.
