May’s meeting was held on May 8th at Sentry Safe. Bob Wickland from Global Crossing presented to the group an overview and a technical discussion on SharePoint as it is implemented at Global Crossing. He covered the basic hierarchy of the sites, and demonstrated pages from some of the functional business areas. He also discussed in detail the approach that was taken to upgrade from 2003 to their current state. All in all a great presentation, with lots of lively discussion.
