SharePoint Administrator and Web Designer  

Description

Salary Information - $55,000-$65,000 + 10-20% bonus. Strong benifits, 100% tuition reimbursement.
 
Job Responsibilities
- SharePoint Administration: Administer SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) and Windows SharePoint services (WSS) according to needs at all levels of the business.  Responsible for overall portal and site architecture, initial site set up, site templates, AD synchronization and user management (liaise with IT), shared lists and other cross-site activities. Serve as the SharePoint subject matter expert (SME) and provide training and support for other content managers. Engage in collaborative SharePoint efforts with Client and subsidiaries.
 
- Website Design: Design and build web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.  Design and develop user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.  Contribute to the design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications.   Ensure design solutions are appropriate for targeted audience, meet project specific criteria, reflect best practices, and add value to the company’s strategy and vision.  Develop and provide content that will motivate users to return, and utilize it as a major source for information and decision making.
 
- Website Maintenance: Responsible for managing/performing website editorial activities including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the site.  Initiates search engine optimization.  Manages fire walls and establishes appropriate use of security functions.
 
Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in English, journalism, Communications, or IT related field.
Working Knowledge of:
CorasWorks (SharePoint add-in)
MS InfoPath
SharePoint (MOSS) 2007
. Net framework and development
SQL Server or other relational database
2-5 years IT experience including: 1-2 years in SharePoint administration, 3+ years of website administration and design.

Preferred:
Experience in production management, web page design, HTML, and web graphics types and standards.
Required: Proficiency in the use of:
HTML, XML, Javascript, Flash, other web technologies
Adobe Photoshop, other image editors
WS_FTP, or other FTP software
MS Visual Studio, FrontPage, other web editors
Microsoft Office
