SharePoint/MOSS Architect/Developer 

Description

Dollars can go up to $230k total comp
Position requires 5+ years experience with Microsoft technologies, including design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance;
 
Experienced with Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000, Active Directory, IIS 6.0 / .NET, Windows networking / system administration, vbscript, , C#, ASP.NET;
 
Preferred prior experience running global server farms; SharePoint (SPS/WSS) 2003, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, SQL Server 2005;
 
Knowledge of other MS products integrating with MOSS2007 is essential, including Office2007, Excel Server, Forms Server and Information Worker solutions, such as Business Intelligence and KPIs;

Strong inter-personal and communication skills;
Making presentations to senior management, internal client audiences, professional peers, and working independently on problem solving.
 
Must be able to sustain a
highrate of workflow and work on multiple initiatives. *BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Responsibilities include Serving as the architecture lead and steward of the MOSS2007 architecture, including design and implementation;
 
Lead the SP2003>MOSS2007 migration effort globally; Assess impact of design change requests - either from end users or due to larger firm efforts (e.g. domain consolidation); Asses impact for requests to build
business applications on shared environment and make recommendations for tiered service offerings; Assess impact to consolidate divisional implementation on a shared services installation.
 
If appropriate, develop strategy and manage migration. Monitor system growth, and identify when the system needs to be scaled out (adding web applications, servers, disks, content databases, etc); Monitor and tune search, backup and other processes; Plan and coordinate infrastructure changes with Tech Ops in New York, London, and Tokyo;
 
Assist in troubleshooting infra-structural issues with the Help Desk, Tech Ops, Windows Engineering, and/or Microsoft support; Participate in global road shows in regional offices for MOSS2007; Participate in developing business solutions for end users; Evaluate 3rd party MOSS2007 add-ins
and vendor products.
